Randy’s a connector . . . he’s been called the “social synapse” of Lincoln because some people think he knows everyone. Actually, his career has involved broadcasting, telecommunications, higher education, church leadership and public corporation leadership. He’s produced more than 20 TEDx events, hundreds of television shows, a series of podcasts and written articles mostly about interesting people he’s met. Some of those articles were put together in the book The People of Lincoln, The Framework of Community. He’s an active member of Rotary 14. You'll find him on Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, Linkedin and YouTube. He’s been in all 50 states, participated in a week-long rafting trip through the Grand Canyon and helped start a business in Beijing, China. Oh, and he and Jan have 3 sons, 15 grandchildren and 6 GREAT grandkids. Not bad for 55 years together.
